Effect PROMO 2012 COMPETITION

Professional competition of creative gifts “Effect PROMO” is held annually within the framework of the international specialized exhibition "B2B Show" (22-24 February, 2012).

Organizer of the competition: Association of manufacturers and importers of advertising and souvenir production of Ukraine ("AVIRSU").

Effect PROMO Professional is aimed at  advertising and marketing industry professionals – those, who already have successful work experience at the advertising market.

Winners of Effect PROMO Professional 2011:

  • The most original promotional gift - «Georg BioSystems» (UK, Ukraine, Donetsk), humorous promotional gifts in the form of product samples in the National Annual Convention of otolaryngologists, held in Sudak.
  • The most original promotional textile product - T-shirts with special effects - "Poltoran Print" (Kiev, Ukraine).
  • Exclusive souvenir - bronze and gilted goods under TM VIZURI (Kiev, Ukraine).
  • Author's souvenir, Hand made - collection of  Futurra ompany (Kiev, Ukraine), author's sachets, paintings with embroidery and postcards.
  • The most creative souvenir - personalized game "Monopoly" for the Heineken brand made by TDI Group (Minsk, Belarus).
  • The most unexpected effect of advertising gifts - "Kaleidoscope" (Russia), desktop  souvenir for clients of tourist company "Poyusiy veter".
  • Special - special nomination for "Columb" company (Ukraine, Lugansk), manufacturer of the unique rewards and souvenirs with the Ukrainian symbols.
  • The most creative printing - Special - special nomination for the printing house "Wolf" (Kiev, Ukraine), as the creator of masterpieces and an effective promotional printing.
  • Grand Prix - "Proekt 111" (Russia, St. Petersburg), series of promotional products "Kuzkina mat'."
  • Special Grand Prix - "Zozulitsa" project (Kiev, Ukraine), (victory in all categories of the Competition) - the national symbol of alternative souvenir and a musical instrument of Euro 2012.

Contest Effect PROMO Junior is aimed at students.

Undergraduate and graduate students in “Advertising”, "Marketing", "Public Relations", "Design" and other professions adjacent to the promotion and marketing activities are invited to participation.

The best and the most effective business gifts of the year will be presented with awards, as well as published on www.b2bshow.com.ua, www.avirsu.com.ua websites, and on the pages of B2B Digest Magazine.

Winners of Effect PROMO Junior 2011:

  • Grand Prix - SPG project group team(Sphere of Professional & Personal Growth). A series of PR-campaigns designed to increase loyalty to their university, attracting new entrants.
  • Social Project - Irina Pinchuk, 4th year student of the faculty "International Relations". PR-campaign "Good Deeds" social print "Vision", the idea of developing gifts with an environmental message.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Originality of idea of a souvenir/advertising campaign using gifts
  • Understanding of the process of promotion with the help of promotional souvenirs and business gifts
  • Adequacy of the presented project (development, budget, performance);
  • Positioning accuracy for the target audience
  • Quality/professionalism of the technical fulfillment
  • Color and graphic solutions
  • Persuasiveness and power of product’s influence
  • Efficiency potential

Expert commission:

The expert commission consists of members of the “AVIRSU” Association and independent experts in the field of marketing, advertising, PR, business consultants and media.

Winners are determined by an Expert commission while summarizing the results of the competition in each nomination.

Awarding ceremony:

Ceremony of awarding the winners of the “Effect PROMO’ 2012” competition with  Diplomas and Awards will take place on February 24, 2012 within the framework of "B2B Show" exhibition (22-24 February 2012, Kiev, Ukraine).
